Burlington Baybrook:

Wulfe Properties selected Sundance Construction for the 46k square foot Burlington Store ground up build to suit in Webster, Texas. Designed by Levinson Alcoser, the project will replace a previous Toys R Us structure with a brand new tiltwall building and full interior fit out. This project will require tight deadlines to be met for a Spring 2020 delivery.

Burlington San Antonio The Rim:

Hines and CBRE have selected Sundance to build the 35k square foot Burlington Store located in The Rim Shopping Center in San Antonio, Tx. The project will include demolition and shoring, utilities, and ground up expansion work to increase the square footage of the previous Babies R Us space. The interior finish work will be completed in time for a Spring 2020 delivery to Burlington.

Blue Pearl Summit Plaza:

Blue Pearl selected Sundance to assist their architect, Hieghts Venture, in completing design work and building out their latest Houston Hospital located at Summit Plaza. Sundance will perform modifications and adaptive resuse of a previously occupied animal hospital, bringing various components up to current code and rennovating the space. The work will require overtime measures to deliver prior to the Holidays.

NHV Ophthalmology:

Building on previous veterinary specialty design build work, Sundance was selected to design build the NHV Ophthalmology practice located in Spring Texas. This first generation buildout includes exam rooms, a treatment area, surgical room, and diagnotics. Medical gas and other improvements were also required for this location.

Golden Plaza ADA Upgrades:

Sundance was awarded the Golden Plaza Shopping Center ADA upgrade. Located in the Galleria area of Houston, Golden Plaza consists of 2 multitenant buildings with hundreds of feet storefront. In order to comply with ADA grading, Sundance will remove and replace sidewalks and drives while keeping businesses operating. Pedestrian safety and tenant disruptions feature as key components in the construction process.

Stables Town Center II:

Inventrust Properties selected Sundance Construction for the ground up Stables Town Center II shell building project in Northwest Houston. This project includes preparations for a Chipotle location inside the shell building. The project includes demolition of an existing bank building and various adjustments to the existing site improvements to meet code and the requirements of a multitenant building. Completion is slated for the 4Q of 2019.

Animal Eye Peek Road:

The Animal Eye Medical and Surgical Specialist office is a 4k+ sqft veterinary ophthalmology suite located near the Grand Parkway and Westpark Tollway in West Houston. This project was a design build delivery inside a first generation space for a previous client of Sundance Construction. The new location maintains the practitioner's standing as a provider of first rate, state of the art treatment options such as slit lamp ophthalmoscopy, electroretinography, ocular ultrasound, and CT imaging.

Waterview Town Center Infrastructure:

Sundance was awarded the Waterview Town Center LA Fitness and Texas Roadhouse civil infrastructure project. Scope includes several acres of grading, paving, and utility work in preparation for a free standing restaurant and free standing LA Fitness. This is the second phase of the Waterview Town Center project owned by Read King; both phases were awarded to Sundance Construction.

 

 

September 27, 2018

Burlington Laredo:

With the Award of the 60k sqft Burlington at Plaza de San Isidro in Laredo, Texas, Sundance is tasked with delivering a full remodel scope in a short 3 and a half month timeline. The project consists of converting a free standing Gander Mountain into a 2019 prototype Burlington store. The rapid delivery will require expediting and careful project management for a March opening.

Relevant Solutions:

Sundance negotiated a design assist project for a rapid relocation/consolidation effort at Relevant Solutions. The new space combines 4 different locations into one and includes more than 30k sqft of office buildout and ~100k sqft of warehouse/manufacturing space.

Burlington Stone Ridge Market:

A Burlington store will take over the former Sports Authority box in San Antonio at the Stone Ridge Market. Inventrust Properties awarded the 42k sqft buildout to Sundance Construction for delivery August 1, 2018. The project includes typical retail finishes in addition to the latest prototype facade. This will be among the first stores to include the latest facade design.

Texas Precision Metalcraft:

Sundance is working with Texas Precision Metalcraft on an expansion of their existing facility, which was built previously by Sundance. The expansion and remodel work will allow TPM to install a new robotic Dip Cell, further enhancing the safety and producitivty of their business.

 

 

December 10, 2017

Waterview Town Center - East Village:

Read King has awarded Sundance Construction the first phase of the Waterview Town Center project. This phase, called Eastern Village, includes two retail buildings totalling 26k sqft as well as site improvements across the 5+ acre site. Decorative concrete and landscape elements set this project apart along the Grand Parkway corridor. Scheduled completion is Summer of 2018.

Peli Peli Austin:

Sundance was awarded a second build out for Peli Peli at their latest location in Austin, Tx. The project consists of a 5k sqft restaurant build out and exterior work including work in the public right of way in downtown Austin. Details include architectural ceiling elements requiring specialized fire protection and mechanical work, exterior canopies with custom metal work, and interior custom decor and lighting designs.

Blue Pearl Dermatology:

Blue Pearl again selected Sundance Construction for a design build project in the Houston market. This project consists of the interior build out of a 4k sqft Dermatology suite located adjacent to their existing facility in Spring, Tx. The work, which includes medical gas, treatment rooms, offices, and reception is scheduled to commence in August.

Burlington Northline Commons:

Sundance was awarded the phased remodel,  of a 65k square foot Burlington store at Northline Commmons in Houston, Tx. The project consists of phased remodeling in an open store, including rework of various IT systems and electrical re-lamping. Completion of the final phase is slated for October 2017.

Telfair Parcel A:

In a new enclave of Telfair,  Sundance will construct an 8k square foot two story shell building. The project, awarded earlier in March, is slated for a late summer completion. Scope includes high end storefront systems and typical Telfair masonry cladding.

Telfair Shell One:

Sundance was awarded the Telfair Shell One  project, located in Sugar Land, Tx. The project is a ground up shell building, roughly 9,000 square feet, and constitutes phase 1 of a multiphase development. The project's first phase is slated for completion during the summer.

 

 

December 29, 2016

Aldi Magnolia:

Sundance was awarded another Aldi Grocery  store, this time in Magnolia, Tx. The project includes underground detention and significant utility coordination with the City of Magnolia. The 19k square foot grocery retail space is slated for a 3rd quarter 2017 delivery and will incorporate several new prototypical details for Aldi stores.

Peli Peli Katy:

The Cinco Ranch (La Centerra) buildout for Peli Peli Restaurant  was awarded to Sundance Construction. This buildout incorporates several major aesthetic upgrades to the Vista owned shell building including 2k square feet of covered outdoor patio dining space. The project includes an array of aesthetically fascinating millwork details in addition to the typical restuarant components. Completion is slated for May of 2017.

Sunset Animal Hospital:

Permitting is underway for the Design Build  13k square foot two story animal hospital in Houston, Tx. The project is slated for preconstruction activities in the 4th quarter of 2016. The design of the facility has been coordinated entirely by Sundance Construction's assembled team of professionals. From acoustical considerations to medical gas and millwork, every element of the project has been meticulously detailed to maximize client value and anticipate future business use.

Newk's Eatery Lufkin:

Sundance was awarded the Newk's  Eatery in Lufkin, Texas. The franchise restaurant will occupy 4k square feet of the Market at Lufkin pad shell building which is also under construction by Sundance. Work will proceed on an accelerated overlapped schedule, benefiting both tenant and landlord. Completion of the project will likely be late in October, just in time for the holidays.

Aldi Meadows Place:

Preconstruction Activities have begun  after Sundance was awarded the Aldi Grocery store in Meadows Place. The project, slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2016, includes the ground up construction of a ~17k square foot grocery store and related site improvements. Details include full masonry facades and intricate concrete work, along with a host of typical grocery store mechanical, electrical, and plumbing requirements.

Ravenwood Crossing Retail:

Sundance was awarded  the lump sum bid for the Ravenwood Retail project in Hunstville, Tx. The project includes ground up construction of a ~16k square foot retail shell building and related site improvements. Construction activities will ramp up in June.

Market at Lufkin Phase 2:

Phase 2 of the Market at Lufkin  was awarded to Sundance Construction. This phase, which follows the 50k square foot phase 1 construction of a Burlington, includes ground up construction of a 10k square foot retail shell and related site improvements. Also included will be the landlord work for a Newk's Eatery, which will occupy part of the building.

Coldstone Creamery Magnolia:

In order to quickly build  the Coldstone Creamery in Magnolia, the franchisee contracted Sundance Construction for a design build project. Demolition activities and interior remodeling, along with equipment handling were all included in the contract. Sundance will complete the design while preparing the interior - a concurrent design build process saving the client time and money.

Market at Crenshaw:

Sundance has achieved  substantial completion of Phase 1 at the Market at Crenshaw. This phase consitituted >100k square feet of retail. Tenants include Burlington, Party City, Tuesday Morning, MOD Pizza, Xfinity, and Mattress One.

MOD Pizza:

With the award  of MOD Pizza, Sundance is under contract for a total of a 88k square feet of interior buildouts at the Market at Crenshaw. MOD Pizza, a 3k square foot fast casual restaurant, will open in December of 2015. The buildout, with architectural work by Graphite Designs, includes specialty kitchen equipment and indoor/outdoor seating.

Market at Lufkin:

Preconstruction activities  are under way for the Market at Lufkin, a Ley Wilson development including a 50k square foot Burlington Coat Factory and related site improvements. The project will kick off in June and extend through 2015.

Retail at Alder Trails:

Sundance Construction  was awarded the competitive bid for the Retail at Alder Trails. The project, for Read King development, includes site improvements for a 42k square foot Walmart Neighborhood Market and a separate 18k square foot retail building. Construction activities are set to begin immediately. Designed by Identity Architects, the project will include median and turn lane work in public roads as well as extensive utility infrastructure and coordination with Walmart's selected GC.

Walgreens FM 1960:

Sundance Construction  has begun preconstruction activities for Walgreens #16061, at FM 1960 in Houston, Texas. The brownfield, ground up construction project includes a Vapor Mitigation System. Construction activities will begin in late May and continue through 2015.

Market at Crenshaw:

Concrete and site related activities  are in full swing at the Market at Crenshaw. Tenants for the project include Burlington Coat Factory, Party City, and Tuesday Morning. Phase 1 of the development should reach substantial completion in the fourth quarter.

Market at Crenshaw:

Sundance Construction  has begun preconstruction activities for Ley Wilson Developments' Market at Crenshaw Project in Pasadena, Tx. The project, designed by Lane Design Group includes over 150k square feet of retail. Construction activities begin January of 2015.

Walgreens Westheimer and Voss:

Sundance Construction was awarded the negotiated contract to build a new Walgreens store at the Northeast corner of Westheimer and Voss in Houston, Tx. .  As part of the contract, Sundance will perform partial, phased demolition activities on the active shopping center. Construction of the free standing Walgreens store, designed by Levinson Alcoser, will begin this fall.

Walgreens Corpus Christi:

Sundance Construction was awarded the negotiated contract to build Walgreens latest concept store in Corpus Christi at the corner of Staples and Everhart.  The corner site was previously additional parking for Whataburger’s corporate headquarters.  The project is owned by Maddox Development and was designed by Identity Architects.

Texana Children’s Center for Autism:

Sundance Construction was awarded the interior and exterior renovations at 130 Industrial Blvd in Sugar Land, Texas.  Existing tenants will receive enhancements to the exterior of the building as well as the building’s atrium, roof, and HVAC equipment.  Texana will move in to their new 7,000 square foot space, which includes treatment rooms, office space, a kitchen, and an outdoor play ground.  Texana’s scope was designed by BSA Architects while the shell improvements were designed by Munday Architects

Riverstone:

Retailer Five Below is entering the Houston market and has tapped Sundance Construction to provide the interior remodel of their Riverstone location.  The 5,000 square foot store sits within a power center that was originally built by Sundance as part of Johnson Developments’ Riverstone development.  PDMS designed the new space for Five Below.

Sundance was awarded the interior and exterior renovation for Fiesta Market Place new store in the Sugar Creek Village Shopping Center. United Equities, Inc.  is the owner of the shopping center and CDA Architects designed the scope of work.

Sundance Construction has been awarded the negotiated contract for ground up construction of their new store at 3221 W. Wadley Ave in Midland, Texas.   Walgreens is the developer and was designed RSP Architects, Inc..
